Southwest chicken chili is good. Ask for cheese and red onions on top. Pretty good for a chain. Bonus: Usually a lot of MILFS crawling around.

I either do the red beans and rice with salad, or gumbo with the salad bar.

Lately though, I've been eating the Pasta Primo with Meatballs or the Chicken Penne Pasta... both are pretty tasty.

First one in the shopping center in front of the origianl Barnes&Nobles. Second one in the shopping center on Seigan @ I-10...back close the Conn's.

For the Thread starter...the pastrami is quite good. Try the New York Yankee...corned beef AND pastrami together, or tell'em to make you a Rachel...this is not actually on the menu...it's a Rueben with pastrami instead of corned beef...for them what didn't know, and quite good.

Never had a bad sandwhich there...whatever I've gotten has been good

Are there any non chain true deli options in BR? Just remembered the Georges's place downtown...is that a true deli?

George's downtown is closest thing to a true deli that I have found, but there may be others. I've been a couple of times and enjoyed the hell out of every sandwich I've had.
