What are your favorite food/recipe blogs and websites?

I find myself trying recipes from Serious Eats, the Spruce eats and Food 52 more than any others. I really enjoy on how Serious Eats breaks down how they perfect a recipe through trial and error.

I'm more into watching videos these days just to get a good visual of the process but those are both good resources. I have a ton of cook books for print recipes to refer to. The French Laundry cook book is way too advanced for me though. I can't execute any of the things in there.

Serious Eats is really solid.
I think this site is a pretty damn good one for Louisiana (and other) food. And where else would you find someone making backyard maple syrup, bacon grease cookies, home-aged beef, peanut butter roux and pickle pie? It would be even better if more people would post recipes.
The food challenges have contributed greatly to this place, too.

NYT cooking is great for the recipes but the comments are very helpful modifications

For someone starting out with Cajun/South Louisiana cooking, or even someone experienced like myself but looking to make something different with that same trend, it's tough to beat Acadiana Table.

I've yet to have a recipe from Kenji or Daniel Gritzer not turn out great.
Now some of the other recipes on there written by their other staff? Not so much.
I in fact made Kenji's grilled Peruvian chicken and green sauce last night. Great as usual.

For baking, I really love WeekendBakery.com.
It's European (Neatherlands, I think) but they have great recipes by weight, picture tutorials, detailed instructions, etc.

I really like Ideas in Food blog. They haven't posted anything new in months but, they are a very good resource for food science and creative ideas.

I'm a fan of Sam the Cooking Guy's stuff on YouTube.

I get them from various places, like Serious Eats. If I am looking for Mexican recipes, I check out Pati Jinich's site. I tend to look at several recipes and pick and choose from those recipes.
This site has been useful too. In fact, today I made a Mississippi roast (pork) and the Black-eyed Pea casserole that I saw on this site. Both turned out well.

I have the French Laundry cookbook too. I've tried 1 or 2 recipes in it, but agreed, it way too advanced for me. Early in the food blogging days, I followed a blog of a woman that cooked her way through the French Laundry cookbook. It was a good blog. She was a good writer and her blow by blow pictures were great.
