La Fondas is more of a place to get ripped on margaritas more than an actual restaurant...

Twins Bakery

Wife and I tried it because of the hype. The sweet bun ruined it for me.

Speaking of, I’ll throw in Fat Pat’s.

Has every restaurant in all 50 states been named yet or are we getting close?

I used to really like In n Out burgers but after eating them twice while in Vegas I can very easily say animal style is an invite to a really shitty taste in the back of your throat at bedtime.

* Again maybe because it was in Vegas but Planet Hollywood at CP was a very pleasant surprise.

I really miss the Bulldog Deli down at State. I've built it up so much in my mind that it'll probably be a disappointment in a few years when I take my boys there after freshman orientation.

Probably Keith Young’s steakhouse. I only ate there once, so it could have been just a one off, but I found the steak was extremely under salted, like they cook it bare with nothing on it.

Antoine's hasn't been good for awhile now so there is no hype unless you google the most cliche restaurants in New Orleans then go there.

Roul’s on highland next to LSU campus. It’s not bad but it’s def overpriced for all the hype it got. Same for five guys. Although they do give you a lot of their (mediocre) fries at once.

20 pages and I'm surprised no one has mentioned Tunk's Cypress Inn in Boyce. Terrible, but all the locals rave about it. Not only was the food sub par, but they used a sliced canned beet(WTF?) for garnish on my kids plate.
