PF Chang's. While it's not a 5 star it gets a lot of hype. I didn't see much diff. b/t it and run of the mill Asian cuisine places.

I felt the food in general during my trips to NOLA have always been over hyped.

ETA: For those that don't know, Peche won the James Beard ( restaurant version of a Grammys/Oscar) Best New Restaurant in the country, which is why I think it's overrated because it was just avg when I went.

I'm going to have to go with Pinettas and Doe's Eat Place for Baton Rouge.
I like both of them don't get me wrong. But I don't think they are worth the doting/gushing they get nor the price(Doe's).

First that came to mind was Meddlesome Moth. It's a trendy place in Dallas that a lot of people recommend, but I found it to be very very average food.
