Cleaning out the fridge tonight.

Choices include leftover:

Boiled shrimp + fixings
Indian takeout (baingan bharta/garlic naan/samosa)
Honey garlic chicken/lima beans/cauliflower casserole

Or any combination of those things.

Vodka waters and flurries.

Oven fried shrimp poboys, tater salad, warmed up homemade king cake for dessert.

Dang, the cajun spicy fish fry is hot!

ETA: I realized too late I was out of oil to fry 'em up & made it work.

Roasted chicken with creme fraiche lemon and Aleppo pepper glaze.

24 hour brine Sunday to Monday, air dry in icebox until today. 400 oven hour and 15 minutes. Almost 4 pounds.

That looks good.

I was at someone’s house and they made a bruschetta with those Trader Joe’s lentils and it was really good. I need to get them. Are they frozen?

No. They are in the refrigerated section. Unopened, they are good for months.

I made the zhoug, but TJ's has that too.

Friend,

I made a seafood charcuteria plate tonight with Great Value smoked oysters and a delicious smoked and aged Parm. The Great Value saltines are a quarter the cost of Nabisco and every bit as good.

It is certainly oyster season now, so get some!

Yours,
TulaneLSU

True. False.

Those smoked oysters are not very appealing to the eyes
