Took a long walk this afternoon to get our blood flowing.

Stopped in at a local spot on the route for a beer and a bite.
Cold as shite outside so I had my favorite comfort/cold food combo:

A grilled cheese panini with a bowl of spicy tomato bisque.

Local IPA for accompaniment.

I had the same thing. Homemade beef vegetable and man it’s good. With a sleeve of Premium saltines.

Wife had a bowl of Malt O Meal. It’s like stewed sand.

We used to fix malt o meal for our older son, who loved it. Flavored it various ways, but peanut butter was a fave.

We grew up eating malt o meal and cream of wheat. Never heard of anyone outside of our immediate family eating it. We also ate oatmeal (not instant) and I still like that as well.

Dinner was salad with Sam's chicken nuggies on top. The ones that people say taste like chick fil a that absolutely do not
