I took a general purpose photo of our WFDT menu for the next several weeks, starting tomorrow and ending when the wife is able to swallow semi solid food.

As long as she can't eat, I won't eat either.

When it’s just me, I go to the store and let the random yellow discount stickers in the meat section decide what’s for dinner.

Bought a half price flat iron steak that ended up being awesome. It was a nice surprise, usually the sticker roulette game results in some form of cheap pork chops.

I always buy yellow sticker beef and lamb. It’s better.

Roasted chicken topped with a simple sauce of butter, mushrooms, garlic, and heavy cream. Topped withe fresh herbs and served over garlic mashed potatoes.

Jax, I saw your dinner pic while my chicken was baking and wanted to have some of that cream sauce! However, my husband is cooking and making my requests and I hated to ask for more than he was already doing.
