We have an amazing pie store within walking distance, and I like to support local businesses, SO--

I ordered two pies.

One is an heirloom tomato/gruyere/dijon mustard/herbs de provence. It's egg-based, so it's basically a quiche with a better crust. That's what I had for dinner.

For dessert: peach-blackberry w/ walnut crumble. A la mode.

There was a mix-up at the store, so we ended up with 2 bonus pies...both bourbon chocolate pecan. We gave one to our neighbor and kept the other for ourselves.

Yay pie! Vodka waters for second dessert.

Baby back ribs, treated with paprika, garlic, oregano, olive oil, ghost pepper salt, red pepper medallions. Slid some honey in there.

Slooooooow. Fell off the bone.

German risotto, Japanese green salad heavy on English cucumber, red radish, and lettuce was that papery Boston lettuce.

Barolo

Smoked 2 Boston butts . They were rubbed with cane syrup, meat church holy gospel, and Mississippi grind.
They came out great.
Added a couple pounds of meat to some
Beans and smoked them too.

We have one in the freezer that will likely freezer burn nd be tossed. I expect our keto diet to last a while, and pizza with crust is a big no no at the moment.

Just had dinner out on the street at Revel Kitchen

Had some fresh burrata cheese for a starter and chicken biscuits with pepper jelly and truffle fries for dinner. Downed a couple Fieldworks DIPAs

Solid meal
7.5/10
Would recommend
