Bought a plant at Home Depot to grow with my Black Beauties. Good flavor but texture was kinda mushy, would not be good to use in eggplant parmesan...

Roasted boneless skinless chicken breast in lemon juice and Tony's, topped with sauteed baby portabellas and garlic and Swiss cheese and roasted again for a few minutes. And asparagus.

This evening I made a shrimp & chicken Pad Thai.
Should have used a bigger pot.

I made bruschetta, but I added chunks of fresh mozzerella, because why not? It's still marinating, and I need to toast the crostinis, but I'm sure it will be delicious.

Vodka waters to wash it down.

NY Strips, Broccoli and Cheese Sauce. Not trying to hurt feelings, but we are an age now where we split a steak and are happy doing that.

Will eat other one tomorrow.

Dallasga6 - I would have eaten those two heirloom purple tomatoes at the bush. They would have never made it inside.

Had a good Sunday spent with family coming to meet our second born.

This prime rib recipe is undefeated and HEB had it on sale this week
