Beer to start. Then wine. Making a large chicken n sausage gumbo, boiling 10 pounds of shrimp, and may cook a large batch of butter beans, Silver Moon style. I won’t go hungry and I won’t go sober.

Trying out a new Indian restaurant, this place was killer. Hot chai tea, beef samosa with some chutney, cheese naan bread, chicken karma and lamb vindaloo.

I brought Junior over to the FIL’s and let him catch some fish out of the pond. FIL smoked a pork loin, pot of black eyed peas, and a pan of jalapeño cornbread.

Pizza bread: homemade sourdough, thickly sliced, topped with tomato purée, torn basil, fresmwhile milk mozzarella, and grated Parmesan, baked until bubbly. Kind of a homemade update of the Stouffers french bread pizzas I ate after school,in childhood.
