Mrs Jabba made country fried steak, mashed taters and gravy, Mrs Schubert rolls, and (not pictured) Lima beans.

Outstanding effort. It was delicious.

This evenings menu was simple but delicious!

It started this morning when I cut up a few of each of zucchini and yellow squash and put those to marinate in Newman's Own Honey Apple Cider.

Next was thawing a few fillets of catfish.

Late this afternoon I prepped the salad which consisted of avacados, romaine lettuce, thin slices of red onions, sliced Louisiana strawberries and blueberries. The salad was dressed with a strawberry vinaigrette right before serving.

I used the Keg to grill the veggies and the gas grill burner to blacken the catfish.

That new Calphalon cast iron pan is really getting a workout!

Time to eat!!!

The fish came out absolutely fantastic. In fact the whole meal was unbeatable!!!

That Newman's dressing is a keeper for marinating veggies!

One of THE best salads!!!

To sum it all up............. This was one fricking fantastic meal!!!!!!

Last time I went there one member of my party ordered a steak with ketchup and the other ordered one “butterflied and burned”. No joke.

I came home for the ball park with plans to destroy some leftover gumbo. Only to find out we are out of rice. Damnit. I’m probably going to eat it over ramen noodles.
