I had my first glass of wine a little after noon. About to open bottle #2. Watching the golf tournament. My main man Florencio is on his way with ribs, chicken, tri tip, mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. My goal is to make it to 9. Nice little Sunday.

A new market opened not far from my house. It's owned by some folks from Chicago and has a nice sandwich shop and butcher. I picked up some prime strips yesterday and will grill those tonight, along with sauteed kale and gnocchi with tomato vodka cream sauce. A cab of some sort. Likely Grgich Hills or Raymond Rutherford.

McClure's at Nola Tap Room. Husband and I split a 3 meat platter with 2 sides and some wings. Ribs and wings were good, but the pulled pork was dry and the brisket too fatty.
