I have a plethora of food going this evening.
Wife wants broiled trout. We cooked some the other night and it was divine. 3 big spec fillets are going to be broiled. I am also grilling some meat for the next few days. Sausage, deer backstrap, chicken breasts, and veggies are going on after I make the quick run to the store to get more beer. We are also baking au gratin potates from Omaha Steaks, and a green bean dish that Mrs. El Josey Wales taught me many moons ago.

Well, we would have my mom over, but she's been dead for 25 years. Lucy and her mom haven't spoken for 15 years. Lucy is not a mom although she insists that the dogs count. They would, except I take care of them and they don't give me anything for Father's Day.

But, Lucy will have a choice of thawed out Catfish Courbullion or Chicken K Bobs on the grill right now over wild rice. She will go for the K Bobs when she gets up in half an hour.

Marinated them overnight. Got red bell peppers, red onion carmelizing, mushrooms on steel skewers.

Well, you know my thoughts on this. There would not be a decision if it were me.
