Chili with beans. It's getting really cold up in Shreveport.
Also marinated some steak for fajitas. My garden still has lots of jalapenos and they're getting really big.
By this time I usually throw them into the compost pile.

made a little broth flavored w/ smoked turkey, ginger, garlic and carrots. poured over rice noodles. a simple broth w/ noodles sounded good after three days of heavy thanksgiving food.

Fed the 'hood. Italian night. Spicy clams and mussels over pasta with an alternative Bolognese sauce,French bread and a shitload of wine. Had a little pesto and crustini as an app.
