Chicken cooked in cream sauce with white wine gruyere cheese and dijon mustard. Pasta with same sauce. Garlic bread. Broccoli. Chardonnay.

Tomorrow’s our anniversary but it’s also Halloween, so I cooked my wife a celebratory steak tonight, along with baked potatoes and fake crab salad. :)

Chili and cornbread.
Growing up my papaw was the one that always made cornbread when we would eat with them. When he died a few years back, I wanted his cast iron skillet as some of my fondest memories of him were when we were around the table. Anytime I make cornbread I use his recipe and make it in his skillet.
