Just finished a big pot of puréed potato leek soup, with plenty of black pepper & nutmeg. No cream or dairy. Might have to go for a long walk outside to put me back into the mood for soup before supper.

Wife finished off the chicken croquettes. So I made dirty rice today. The addition of Lipton's onion soup mix after par boiled rice makes the difference.

Couple grilled quail from this morning, a salad, and the last of the duck gumbo I made a few nights ago.

Munching on some smoked sausage right now. Neighbor is bringing some coconut shrimp she's making.
For dinner we got a big ole pot homemade chili going.
We are stuck in some ice in north Atlanta so drinking a lot of fluids and eating!

Leftover black bean and red potato soup... served over white rice. Made it in the instant pot, can't get enough of it

Just put some chops in a 144 degree bath

Have lots of cabbage and spinach from the garden so will probably sauté a bunch of that

...might roast some sweet potatoes as well

So the sandwich has Sourdough Rye from local bakery, swiss cheese, Russian dressing, Sourkraut and Corned Beef. Assemble it then coat bread with soft butter and finish on the griddle.
