I put a nice plump chicken to brine using my briner.

You can brine in a bucket or something but the way this thing is made there's a plastic lid like thing that you can adjust to keep the meat totally submerged in the brine.

Then I cut the chicken in two after rinsing it well and letting it air dry a few hour. Then it got seasoned and on to the Traeger it went.

When it was almost done I slathered some BBQ sauce on. Also added a few links of Kartchner's smoked boudin to the grill.

Time to eat!
Brining that chicken helped make that chicken so tender and juicy!

Oh, also had a nice crisp salad.

Did chicken tortilla (without tortilla) soup in the crock pot today. It was too spicy so I cut it with a container of cream and now it’s perfect.
