We were not very impressed. The food was good but not great and there is zero relaxing conversation there. We had reservations for 6:15 and weren’t seated until 7:15 but it’s Valentines weekend so that was forgivable but the servers came to our table to bombard us with options even while our card was flipped to red the entire time which prevented us from being able to talk peacefully. They sat us near where people were waiting to be seated so hungry people watched us as we ate, which was awkward. The tables were also really close to each other as well so you better talk very low otherwise everyone around you will hear your conversation. I don’t know why they give you the cards if the servers don’t pay attention to them. We even pointed out that our cards were red after the second time they came to us on red but that didn’t stop them.
The salad bar is pretty good and everything was very fresh but the entire experience gave me cruise vibes - good food and a glutenous atmosphere.
I had forgotten why we hadn’t been there in so long and though I don’t regret going because we did eat pretty well, the atmosphere was not something we enjoyed. Are we just being picky and hard to please or is this a common experience at this restaurant?

It was never good. The meats were always subpar. Quantity over quality restaurant.

I've only eaten there a few times. The best food was the salad bar and the soups.

Lobster bisque is the best thing they have. Seems like all they ever bring out are the lower-tier cuts

I actually prefer the salad bar only for $19.99
Huge choices of charcuterie, soups, salads and breads. And I didn’t leave feeling sick to my stomach.

If you eat the meats, you better have a few bottles of water by the bed at night because they are so darn salty.

The lobster bisque and the top sirloin(picanha?) was always very good. Everything else is kinda meh.

it's been years since I have been to Texas de Brazil but I actually went to Fogo de Chao in Portland last week and really enjoyed it. Haven't been to Texas since college but it was great back in the day (a religious experience for someone in college
)

Was going to say something similar
The food was really good, but always way too salty. About halfway into my meal, I would always kick myself for not just doing the salad bar option

You ain't lying. My roommates and I would go once a year when they'd send us half off birthday coupons. We'd eat ourselves sick.
