I don’t eat there often, but I did last night. Their fries are horrible and the burger wasn’t that great either.

2 of 3 Wendy's have been closed down in the Fort Walton Beach area and the last one is struggling for customers and it's just a matter of time. Also Captain Ds closed this week. Fast food is becoming a thing of the past.

I'll be honest my local Wendy's is probably the best quality fast food burger we have.

Why doesn't one of these failing fast food chains just shut everything down and reopen with the exact food/recipes they had in the 90s. Would be huge.

They wouldn't make any money
Wendy's cant compete with other burger joins like Five Guys and if they reduced their prices the quality is also lowered. They're also cooking their food in the same grease they make breakfast in and rarely have time to cleanup between lunch shifts.

Don't worry, they're bringing back the yellow packaging from the 90s to pretend the quality hasn't fallen off a cliff.

Like most fast food places the quality is very location dependent. Wendy's, in my experience, is the only big chain fast food burger that has the taste and texture of actually eating something in the neighborhood of beef.

But did you stick to the chair when you tried to get up? The one on College Drive in Baton Rouge is known for that.
I was going to eat at the one on Sherwood Forest Blvd, but had to use the restroom first. I ended up not even stepping into the restroom, and absolutely didn't get lunch at that place. Foul and disgusting.

Don't know what happened to them. I used to love Wendys. Their salads, chili, and burgers were some of the best. Its probably the worst fast-food burger in the market now.

I stopped going to Wendy’s when they downsized the salads and then they shrunk the burgers

Obviously, this is totally dependent on location. For my location, Wendy's is so bad, I will never go back.

I would treat my kid to a frosty and fries for dipping on occasion but their fries would leave a an aftertaste like it was made in a lab, which I'm sure it was.
