No love for the hash brown bowls? I probably eat there once or twice a year and haven’t ordered anything else.

grilled chicken biscuit with grilled onions and mushrooms with a side of white gravy. Add some gravy to the sandwich and dip it in the gravy.

My go-to.

Anything besides that I should order?

Both of my wife's siblings used to work there. They both get the chicken melt.

I can't bring myself to order a chicken sandwich at the waffle house, I can get that anywhere.

But according to them, it's the best thing on the menu.

Speaking of my wife, her go-to is the "new" Fiesta hash brown chicken bowl. Jalapeno's are what make it "Fiesta".

I used to get unsweet but the WH's around me stopped brewing it.

My only gripe about Waffle House is shrinkflation. The patty melt and burgers keep getting more and more petite.

Shrinkflation will make me stop eating somewhere moreso than a price increase. Shrinkflation just seems sneaky and sleazy and deceitfu.

I was with you up until the orange juice part. It is orange, I’ll concede that….

I see no mention of Waffle House sauce in this thread .

It’s a bit of a secret item.

Ask for it and put on your hash browns

Shrinkflation is just bringing back portion sizes to pre 70s or even 80s.

I'll say it:
Texas toast is for children and simpletons.

My go-to was either a Fiesta omelet or a ham and cheese omelet with hashbrowns, wheat toast, black coffee and a healthy dousing of Waffle House salsa.

Are they still offering omelets?
