Most are pretty stupid and it's really gotten out of hand with people sharing them.

I'd watch Tasty videos all day long compared to the idiot political posts that are rampant on my feed.

This is true.

And, I hate all political posts. I don't discriminate. They're all bad. I skip them.

So, I went to the Tasty FB page and determined that I've never read a post from there or watched a video. I watched the mini cinnamon rolls made with pie crust video. They look, well....tasty. Think I'll make those. I love pie crust.

The target audience generally doesn't possess any significant cooking ability, nor will they ever actually make that. The trend is to use some sort of canned dough with a cheese or desert sauce.

Anyway, is it just me or do these recipes just appeal to the white trash crowd? None of them seem to be any good or even use decent cooking techniques for that matter. I get it, they're just trying to get cheap page hits, but these things are an abortion. And what makes me laugh is that there is about a 0% chance that the people that share them will ever make them. God I hate stupid people
Stupid people? frick you.

I seriously can't help but stop and watch those videos. They are short and some of the dip ones could be decent. Some of the comments under them are hilarious though.

Or they use chicken breasts in every recipe when chicken thighs are vastly better in flavor/texture and have little to no nutritional difference.

Shhhhhh!

Don't spread those lies!

Or we will be paying $6.99/lb for thighs.

Don't know why yall are so mad that 30 second Facebook videos aren't filled with culinary greatness. Some look appealing to me and some don't. Acting like they're all terrible is ridiculous.

I scrolled deep down the page. Saw several things of interest.

I also use more breast meat than thighs. Not a big fan of dark meat, but I don't eat a lot of chicken. Don't think I've ever orders thighs when ordering fried chicken.
