I agree. I don’t go there often but they just put out good food.

I look past all the douche baggery

Keep speaking truth to power brother. If these racist are happy supporting the murder of minority babies than they will have to answer for that when they meet their maker.

Almost like no one came to the Food and Drink board for a political talk

It’s just kind of ridiculous when you think about how many people you run in to during your daily life that have different life-views than you do. I’m pro choice but I don’t get insulted by someone that isn’t. Think about how exhausting it is to keep tabs on that. Just be tolerant. I’d you don’t want to eat there, you certainly have that right. To list out all your boycotts is freaking tacky tho.

Is it the murder part you agree with or do you not think of them (the innocent human life) as human?

On topic, I’ve not been to Turkey and the Wolf but I love bologna.

I didn’t list them. I was responding to a posters question. Good day!

What so exhausting ?

I’m not seeking places out to boycott. When a business like T&W puts on their social media in ALL CAPS that their selling cookies to raise money to kill babies it doesn’t take much effort for me to NOT stop what I’m doing and take my wallet over to their place of business to stand in line.

Let’s not paint this with some broad brush. Nike disrespecting the American flag isn’t on the same level as killing minority babies. I sleep fine at night in a pair of Nike gym shorts but knowingly giving money to aid in murder of minorities will keep me up at night.

Abortion debate on the food board.....awesome

Also, easily over 90% of restaurant workers and chefs in New Orleans are pro-choice so don’t understand boycotting places that have liberal viewpoints. It’s basically every restaurant.

Went there this afternoon. The vibe is a bit try-hard hipster but the food absolutely lives up to the hype. I will put politics aside, for better or for worse.

My wife had the Bologna sandwich, I had the pork n peppers, and we shared a taco and the deviled eggs. All of it is very delicious.

Don’t know if it’s 90% but the majority of chefs in New Orleans are transplants & certainly more progressive than their clientele

Id say closer to 100% are.

Shaya is a huge liberal and ACLU activist type.

Besh might be the only one in the group that sides with the poli board on this site.

It’s amazing you all think so many restaurants in this town are pro-choice. This town is very catholic and has been for many years.

You go on to list 30 restaurants. We have about 1300 restaurants in the metro area.

Do the math.

This thread has become an abortion.
