Mobbing Quarantine

With all the scary and depressing things going on right now one of the worst is seeing so many restaurants in Nola downsize. In an effort to draw up what ever business can be attained i decided to lighten the mood a little with this video. please share wherever possible.

For right now I’m choosing to remain open with horrible sales not because we have a ton of money in the bank and can afford it, but for my Employees. Some of them have been with me for over 13 years. Through thick and thin. I work hand and hand with them every day but they are the ones that really make my place go. No one knows what tomorrow brings but for right now it brings burgers fries and shakes to metry. If you are able, support those places in your area trying to keep good people employed. Every business is being affected right now but in New Orleans the service industry just hits different... so order takeout, get delivery, tip your drivers, and keep people employed in your community. -Ben

Well done Ben...your employees are your best asset. You will be rewarded in the long run. If I was closer, I would be getting my Ben's burger fix.

Good luck to you and your employees. Glad you’re doing the right thing and I hope the world returns to normal soon.

Ben,

The link you posted isn't to your video so I figured I would help out. Best of luck with everything. I'm making it a point to pick up Ben's for dinner tonight.

Good to see you do this. I don't get down that way much, but will have to stop in to grab a burger next time I am that way.

Another nice track. Good luck Ben. I'm quarantining in H-Town but I sent the vid to friends in Metry and told them they should be grabbing takeout from Ben's.

Good luck. I no longer live in NO but I have picked my 4 best eating establishments where I live and I am supporting by purchasing large amounts of take out and by tipping the staff. Selfishly, I really don't want them to go out of business.

Friend,

How has business been this weekend? Are you sustainable this week? I am considering donating for a meal delivery for French Quarter street performers. Do you deliver to the French Quarter?

If Mother allows me to borrow her car, I will make a large takeout order in the coming days. I haven’t tried the shrimp poorboy. Which bakery’s bread do you serve for the poorboy and are the shrimp fresh? I don’t want to get it if they are frozen shrimp from China or another foreign nation. I hope when I visit you will have on your walls a framed copy of TulaneLSU’s Top 10 items at Ben’s Burgers

Sincerely,
TulaneLSU

Thank you Ben. I always grab lunch at your place when I’m in Metairie. If you’re open tomorrow I’ll try to get a to go order for my business for lunch.

Can we call to place an order or should I just show up?

Why would you put this guy on the spot like this? Isn’t this thread an attempt to help his business? I realize many of your posts are subtle humor and often I am entertained but in a time like this why even remotely tease the owner with the possibility of a large order?
