The McGriddle is a guilty pleasure but I only eat it rarely.

That's because it sits in your stomach for 3 years.

It is a guilty pleasure of mine too.

Slimy, spicy sauce that tastes like it came from a firework factory floor. Everything guilty pleasure about a sausage egg McMuffin was blunted by sharp, guilt ridden, caloricly dense mild chemical burn.

Just ask for a packet of their hot picante sauce and bypass this mess

don’t understand what’s wrong with some of your digestive systems that every time any fast food place comes up, someone runs in to claim even sniffing it gives them the shits. It’s weird

If you rarely eat a lot of high fat foods, it can definitely cause some diahrea. However, I don't think most here are in that good of shape. When it is ones like taco bell, it is probably more likely these people don't get nearly enough fiber on a daily basis and get a big hit in one sitting.

My digestive system handles FF just fine (and I happen to think McDonald's rocks), but I don't know why some think it is ~impossible~ that someone may not have had it in a while.

Routine plays a lot into whether FF is part of your life, and if you pretty much exclusively cook at home/pack lunch for work or dine out in sit-down spots on weekends (and don't have any kids), when is FF going to fit in beyond the rare road trip?

I'd have to leave my house and whatever meal I've planned to go out and get FF to eat. I'm not doing that 99.9% of the time no matter how much I love my nostalgic McDonald's.

Yea, any time you break from the norm, it can make a pretty swift change in your bowel movements. I'd say most that change probably is more towards the constipated state, but some it can easily be the exact opposite.

Sounds gross, when I initially read "Spicy Sausage Egg McMuffin I thought maybe they were just using spicy sausage. But a spicy sauce on a breakfast sandwich sounds gross.

Thanks for typing my thoughts for me.

I like a sausage egg mcmuffin, and one made with spicy sausage could be a nice change.

Love
When someone posts…”I hadn’t eaten xxx in 3 years…”

BS

You think everyone eats at every fastfood restaurant multiple times per year?

I work from home, and pretty much exclusively dine at local establishments if I’m going to dinner somewhere (this started when I moved to New Orleans in my mid 20’s and just stuck with me).

Occasionally we’ll grab Canes or Chickafila. Surely I’m not the only one like this.

I’d say everyone has eaten at multiple fast food places each year… but not all of them obviously.

But a burger place, chicken place, taco place , etc…

Not that everyone eats a Popeyes, church’s, KFC, etc….

That’s what I thought this past weekend in the airport. Decided to get one. Took one bite and threw it away. That sauce is gross.

Interesting. There are a lot of copy cat recipes out there for it. I may have to try this.

Fast food threads are always comical.

No fast food burgers or Taco Bell (are there other fast food taco spots?) for me

I have had ice cream from Sonic, but no burgers.

The whole point is no one cares that you haven’t eaten it in a decade or that it gives you rancid dumps or whatever

That’s covering up some kind of insecurity

No need to feel guilty about eating fast food every once in awhile

Is that the point? It seemed that the poster's point was that he thinks that everyone eats fast food burgers/tacos. So much so that he literally said that

They could limit the breakfast offerings to 1 if it was up to me, nothing else worth ordering. My teen son eats the McGriddle, I throw up just a little when he chows down.
