Was really disappointed. It did have a lot of pork in it compared to others not much liver and green onions though . Also the rice was mushy. Not sure if they had a off day or if it was due to the shipping but was really surprised was expecting it to be better. I have yet to try the boudin balls. So far Billy's would be my #1 pic. Also it doesn't appear any of these places wholesale. Anyone know of a place with good boudin balls that do wholesale?

No I grilled it and it was still too chewy. I usually do when crispy though.

I love Best Stop boudin. Never had it shipped home though.

Their boudin can be a bit inconsistent

When it is on point, it is very hard to beat

Well, if you would listen to a local, you could have saved yourself the time and instead went to Early's for your boudin

I eat best stop all the time.... it's usually pretty good, but as said previously they can be a tad inconsistent sometimes. They tend to have more liver than the other scott joints.
Billy's is good, but not worth the 20 min wait.

I have heard that is a little joint a little further north on the hwy that has some good boudin too. Name escapes me right now.

That being said... the andouille may be the best thing best stop makes.

I like Best Stop, but my favorite is Ronnies smoked boudin, especially after a quick moment on the grill.

It's good, but it will always be behind Billy's.

Wil be making a run back home in the next week. I'll stop for Tasso, andouille and brisket/steens sausage at best stop. Then head north to try it out

Quite a few people love NuNu's as their boudin doesn't satisfy my taste buds. I live in Youngsville and buy my boudin elsewhere

My wife loves the original Rays Boudin in Opelousas on Hwy 182 heading South
