Wife came home with it

I had to eat 100% of it to confirm this Trader Joe’s product is:

2 thumbs down

They do have good Indian frozen meals.

quote:

Our Jambalaya starts with a base of captivatingly aromatic, savory-seasoned, long-grained white rice, along with diced onion, tomato, green bell pepper, and green onion, and finishes with slices of spicy, smoky, uncured Andouille sausage. It takes only a few minutes on the stovetop or in the microwave to become steamy, satisfying, and ready to serve as an entrée or side dish. We recommend enjoying this Jambalaya alongside a leafy green salad or crisp Haricots Verts, or topped with a similarly NOLA-inspired protein, like barbecued shrimp or blackened Chicken Breast.

I wonder if Indians think it's tasty or if they're like us with the jambalaya.

I learned many years ago, never eat a Louisiana dish that wasn't prepared in Louisiana, by Louisianians. Especially dishes that are meant to sound Creole or Cajun, but no one here ever would make.

Anyone else see shite like this from a place like Trader Joes, and it immediately makes you question every other “ethnic” offering they may have, including stuff you thought you might actually like?

I don't know about now, but all the different ethnic foods would be labeled with a related version of Trader Joe's

Italian= Trader Giottos
Asian= Trader Mings
Mexican= Trader Jose

What would the Cajun TJ line be named?
