Is there any place left around that still has this listed this way on their menu? I know I saw one several years ago, but I can't remember where.

One thing I find odd about Tower of Pizza is they don't serve Iced Tea.

We like the pizza a lot but I hate eating there. It’s small, cramped, and outdated.

Great pizza, and the place is like stepping back into time. You’re wrong! It’s a wonderful place to dine in.

And to the poster saying that it’s average pizza, you’re also wrong. What a terrible take.

Nothing about Tower of Pizza wows me or is excellent. The pizza is average. Not horrible, not great.

And if you like stepping back to the 80's then yeah this is the restaurant atmosphere you deserve.

What the hell does that even mean??

It's a classic, no-frills, American pizza joint, nothing more, nothing less, that turns out a pretty good pizza. This is why I go to a pizza parlor. I am about sick of the term "out-dated" in so many ways. There are people in this world who value simplicity, and doing things as they've been done for years. There is room in the restaurant market for both. If "out-dated" bothers you that much, go to Theo's across the street FFS.

I read about it on this board, some even said it was better than Pizza Delicious. I was disappointed. It wasn't bad, but it didn't live up to the TD hype.

Well those people are fricking nuts.

Tower is good...for Metairie.

PD is about a kajillion times better, the two aren't even on the same planet.

I'm not a huge fan of the place... the pizza sauce they use doesn't sit well with me.

Others love it.

Menu is pretty limited. I hadn't been in a couple of years, but it used to be cash only.

I used to get pizzas with artichoke hearts on it when I lived in NOLA. Don't find that at many pizza joints.
