$0.99/lb at Winn Dixie on March 5, 6, & 7 only

Download the Flipp app. You can search for anything you want to buy and it will tell you sales. It is mostly bigger stores, but it does include some regional ones like Rouses.

Rouses has them on sale starting Sat for .98. Galliano Food Store too. Saw that in the Gazette a little while ago.

Side note, Rouses will also have 81/19 ground beef for $1.88#

I got the .99/lb at Winn Dixie a week ago. Did a mojo pork with it. Did tacos for a couple nights and did Cuban sliders tonight. Still have a ton leftover in the fridge.

Mathernes is around Lutcher/Grand Point. You can leave there and go to Verons Supermarket and get some smoked sausage. They about 10-15 minutes apart.

ETA; I think they have more than 2 location though.

Thx Ched. Gonna do that. You ever tried the fried chicken at Jenny's Poboys? It's the best I've ever had. Right behind the police station and 3 minutes up the road from Veron's.

Just looked at today's paper and Rouses has their butts on sale for $.98 a lb. starting today until 3/10.

There's also other nice deals with baby back ribs for $2.48 a lb. starting this Saturday through Sunday.

If you like vegetables, fresh asparagus for $.99 a lb., red bell peppers @ 2 for $1, Haas Avocados in 5 count bag for $1.99 each, yellow onions @ 3 lbs. for $1.50 as are 2 lb. bags of fresh lemons @ $1.50 a bag.

If I had room in my freezer I would be getting me a couple of those pork butts, but they go on sale pretty often at Rouses, so maybe next time.

They have 2 in BR as well. One downtown, and the other is at LSU. It's in the new development with the Tochy's and other stuff. I'm still jealous that LSU students now have a source of food other than Hot Pockets and burritos from the Mini Mart.
