6. Louis Armstrong International - Perhaps the most symbolic of all Popeyes, I love exiting the terminal after a vacation and smelling the greatness. Welcome to New Orleans, indeed.

No longer there.

yep. it was always clutch. I mixed that location in between trips to Mr. Jim's and Southern Classic, both quality joints.

Holy shite a Popeyes buffet?

I would make that my last meal. I actually wouldn't go with any female I know and would go only by myself and sit in the corner and face the wall. Just so I wouldn't feel embarrassed at the amount of food I would consume

the new one on jefferson hwy and causeway is nice. Even has the double drive thru

Always wonder how this works if you have to wait for chicken. I work by this one but don't eat Popeyes enough to have tried it.

I have never had a chicken liver.

Sadly, there are better Chicken Livers out there than Popeye's serves.

Having said that, both Meridian locations serve them.

Some Gas station liver food porn to throw a craving on you. Excellent and less than ten minutes from my desk.

8. 8350 West Judge Perez Drive Chalmette, LA - I admittedly have never been to this one but I believe it is the closest to the original location. I'd appreciate some clarification.

Yeah it's just down the road from the original that was in arabi.

Yeah, agreed. I lived right around the corner from there. The exchange always went a little something like this:

Me: I'll take a 5 piece tenders, spicy, with red beans as the side.
Lady: 5 piece?
Me: Yes
Lady: Spicy or mild?
Me: ...Spicy
Lady: Your side?
Me: Uh... red beans.

That's how their POS system works, brah

My two favorite locations:

4041 Magazine St New Orleans
28710 Walker South Rd, Walker

Although the one in walker seems to have lost a step lately and the chicken has gotten smaller. I suspect the shite owner of the BR locations may have bought it or something. Worst locations I have ever been to are all in BR. Sherwood being #1 and location on Florida Blvd by Sharp being second with O'Neal making H.M.
