Fried duck breast over grits with a blueberry reduction paired with Rogue’s Batsquatch. Cheers FDB.

Not quite an omelet and not quite scrambled eggs. With brisket, mushrooms, spinach, and goat cheese. More delicious than it looks.

Round steak rice and gravy, sautéed cabbage, black eyed peas, green beans. Was craving some comfort food yesterday.

Pounded thin yard strut battered in breadcrumbs in da skillet. Some sort of veggie medley with oil garlic and mozzarella.

Made chicken salad this morning and had it twice, so only a protein shake for dinner.

Actually made way too much chicken salad, so I likely will have it tomorrow also. Maybe the next day too. I guess I got too enthusiastic and overdid it.

Strangely titled WFDT post. Newbie error I guess.

As an old fart it is hard to keep up with the whippersnapper generation. Wish they would stay the hell off my grass.

Our refrigerator died over the weekend and our new one won’t be here until next week, so we’re trying not to have any leftovers. Perfect excuse for a steak

Kind of a boring dinner, but one we love.

Cleaned and deboned a few trout. Stuffed with some lemon, parsley, garlic, white onion, butter, capers and S&P

Served over a bed of lime quinoa (grain, chicken stock, water, lime juice) and a side of broccoli and brussels sprouts. We like heat so for the veggies I make a sauce of ghost pepper flakes, olive oil, lemon, s & p, then toss some fresh parmesan after they've roasted and broil for a few minutes.

Those veggies look amazing......assuming you roast them in the oven? Temp and time?
