Ovila Dubbel. Pretty tasty but the finish leaves a little to be desired. It just kind of thins out too much.

Oh, I also cracked open one of my Stone Vertical Epic 11/11/11's. The chile flavors were there, but by no means overpowering. I really didn't detect the cinnamon. Absolutely agree that it had a nice Belgian base to it.

I'll probably pick up 1 or 2 more to age until next year.

It's a new day, so here are my Thursday tidbits.

Got a bottle of Sierra Nevada Estate from Marcello's. They have several left for anyone looking for it.

Also picked up a Sam Adams Winter Classics 2011 12-pack from Matherne's. It's got 2 of each Boston Lager, Winter Lager, Black & Brew Coffee Stout, Chocolate Bock, Holiday Porter and Old Fezziwig Ale. Looking forward to that Chocolate Bock and Black & Brew.

And grabbed another 6-pack of Wasatch Pumpkin to share with the family for Thanksgiving.

Nice.

I think Boo and I, hopefully others, will be hitting up the Bulldog after work today if anyone is interested. After work means 445.

That's pretty sweet. If I was filthy rich I'd buy bottles of those.

I think I'm going to try a Left Hand Milk Stout that I have in the fridge. I've heard good things about it

Very solid brew.

I still have a couple of last year's Abyss hidden in the back of my fridge that I'm saving for the cool snap tonight. I have 2 or 3 Mikeller BGBs back there, too that I'll probably polish off. Should be feeling no pain tonight.

I've got a Samuel Smith Yorkshire Stingo in the fridge i think i'm going to break open tonight.

From the website

It's very good. Tastes almost like adult chocolate milk.
