Someone from Nola has to rub the bread in their magical taint before serving

Because only when the bread is blessed by the magical taint of a true New Orleanian, is it a true po boy. Anything else is a sandwich

I was pleasantly surprised at the legit poboy I got from Calandros yesterday. Proper poboy bread (light and crusty) and all. Never mind the fact the kid put the wrong meat on it and went a bit overkill on the mustard.

I had no idea they did poboys until a few months ago. Pretty sure they slice the meats (boars head) and cheeses to order. Reisings French bread. Pretty nice sized poboy for $6.99 with lots of meat.

My kid loves the burger at Calandros Perkins.

And this whole thread has it wrong. Andouille must not even know it is poor-boy not po-boy.

thought it started out as poor-boy but got shortened to po-boy along the way?
