Being a chain isn't a requirement, despite the title of the post.

I’m surprised Canes in Lincoln is still #1 considering I graduated 5 years ago

gusto! in Atlanta

I’m a fan

I’m not doubting that it’s good but I’m pretty sure most of the state has never heard of it.

Varsity has at least 3 locations. Whether it is technically a chain is debatable I suppose.

gusto! has 4 locations, all ITP north of I-20. 3 of them clustered around midtown/Ponce.

But we know lists like this are dumb.

Since the OP specified chain and not fast food, the best chain in Louisiana is Zea Rotisserie, the most popular, measured by sales, is Popeye's.

You have to have some pretty fricked up methodology to put a restaurant with 3 locations as the “most popular chain” restaurant in a state.

Gusto is a frufru slop for buckhead betties. No thanks.

Mod is garbage as well. Save for the homemade king dons. And no, I am not a fat arse. Just nostalgia

Is MOD Pizza any good? We have them all over the place here in Spokane, but I haven't visited one yet as I'm still catching up on 7 years without Papa Murphy's.

It's the subway of pizza. So subway isn't considered good by any means, but it is quick and affordable
