Methodology: This is a list of the best fast-food spots in every state in the US, according to Yelp. All the businesses on this list are in the "Fast Food" category on Yelp. "Best" is measured using an algorithm that looks at the number of reviews and star ratings for a business. Only businesses with more than one location were considered.

You'll notice some chains, like Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza and Chick-fil-A, ranked highly in a number of states. Some things transcend state lines, and Americans' love for these pizza and chicken chains is one of them.

ALABAMA: Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza in Birmingham

CALIFORNIA: Dairy Queen in San Diego

FLORIDA: Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza in Orlando

GEORGIA: gusto! in Atlanta

LOUISIANA: Chicken Shack in Baton Rouge

TEXAS: MOD Pizza in San Antonio

Rest of the list

Chicken Shack is great but I wouldn't consider it a chain.

Is MOD Pizza any good? We have them all over the place here in Spokane, but I haven't visited one yet as I'm still catching up on 7 years without Papa Murphy's.

It’s good for what it is. You pay a base price and pick whatever sauce, cheese, and toppings you want. It’s hard to beat for like $8.

Yes, I’ve had it twice and it’s legit.

MISSISSIPPI: Burrito Zone & Tamales in Diberville

Instead of hitting up your local Chipotle, visit Burrito Zone for build-your-own burritos, tamales, nachos, and quesadillas with proteins such as chicken, steak, and pork, as well as homemade tres leches cake for dessert. The only downside? The guac costs extra.

Mississippi' most popular Chain?

A fast food place with one location?

What kind of Chain is that?

Why not choose Krispy Crunchy Chicken? They have +- 50 locations in Mississippi and the best convenience store and gas station fried chicken in the nation.

No criticism toward you, because you didn't develop it, but the list you found is total BS - A click bait posting by that website.

I've never heard of it. IMO, the Varsity is the most recognized since we don't consider Chick-fil-a Atlanta anymore.

I guess 2 locations don't really constitute a chain. I know why I don't know of gusto! though. It's in the areas I don't really go to. I'm too straight and not in a class high enough for those areas.

Knuckle sucking good chicken!

It’s fried chicken in Baton Rouge. I think they use a wet batter, it’s very good and they been around a long time. I wouldn’t have called it a chain though. They got like three locations.

3 locations is a chain?

South Baton Rouge, 70805, scotlandville.

It is better than any of the national chains.

The article said red chicken. I always heard orange chicken.

Yep, Delpit’s. Big fan. They’ve only got like 3 or 4 locations. I’m a regular at the acadian one.
