Grill it until it starts spitting rice!

(I prefer mine with crispy skin, hot off the grill)

A friend of mine is bringing me some frozen boudin today that I plan on cooking for Easter and I realized I never actually cooked it before. What's the preferred method?
I prefer steaming it in a rice cooker.

I much prefer steamed boudin over a crunchy boudin as well

You're not eating links as you go?

I did that once and had to stop at 6.

No, once I get home I’ll have my wife cut me a bite-size piece of each link, and she’ll secretly label each of them separately so that I won’t know which is which. Then I’ll do the blind taste test and rate them.

After the tasting is finished, I’ll devour quite a bit tonight while watching March Madness. The rest I’ll polish off tomorrow with my wife and son.

Final two stops

I just passed Bosco’s again, and it appeared to be closed, no cars in the parking lot

Well to be fair not long ago I stopped at the new Kartchner’s and dropped a pretty penny. Those maple wraps are insanely good.

Actually I prefer them to be just warm instead of piping hot so that I can taste the subtle nuances without burning my mouth.

No Jerry Lee's or Ronnie's to get the BR perspective??

Billy's still gets my vote though.

are you taking I-10 or 190 back home ? If 190, get you a small bag of chicken cracklins for snacking on the way home. Their sold at Billy's in Opelousas or KS.

Once again, not on my route.

I’m not getting any cracklins, because as I said earlier, they give me bad heartburn.

I’m about 40 min. from home now, according to my GPS.

The process takes some time, so bear with me

I promise I’ll post the results sometime tonight though
