I prefer Ham, but in the 47 Thanksgivings I've celebrated, I have never been to a gathering that didn't have both.

Neither.

Usually go a different route for food than turkey or ham.

They are pretty meh and boring

Turkey and ham are fine for sandwiches, because you can smother it with tomato, lettuce, onions, pickles, peppers, mustard and mayo, for the center of a real meal though, I want something else.

If it’s a honey baked ham, I’d take the ham.

Don’t tell me turkey on thanksgiving is some kind of religious belief

It's right there in Psalms.

marshmallow upon the yams,
Pineapples adorn the ham,
But don't overcook the Turkey,
Or it shall cheweth like beef jerky.

way Jesus ever ate turkey.

He turned water into wine and chicken into turkey

We go with ham and then usually put one of those mutant turkey breasts in a roaster for the complainers.

Thanksgiving turkey or ham?

Um... yes.

Turkey, ham and chicken and dressing. So three different meats...

I know the tradition is turkey but does anybody else do ham instead? It tastes much better. Is it a sin?

Thanksgiving = Turkey
Christmas = Ham

Stop fricking around with the order of things or the aliens overlords will come and take us all.
