And it's a very good beer. Can't take anything away from it, but the price and cult following it's garnered is a bit of a mystery to me.

I feel I'm now a member of an exclusive club, but I don't think anyone cares.

Also, why is it that everyone teases people for enjoying a strawberry brew, but this grapefruit flavored beer gets a pass?

And one more passing thought, the color is tripping me out. Looks like orange juice.

Congrats. Good news is we have a lot more choices now.

And yes Urban South's Grapefruit IPA is fantastic.

Have to run off to a meeting and will miss the start of the damn game!

I am on #4 from my first 4 pack. Between Opus, Jucifer, and Ghost, the local breweries are putting out some fantastic stuff.

The cult following mostly comes from the fact that when it was first released there were NO good options at hoppy beers from Louisiana. The best was probably Hopitoulas or Mecha. We have lots of delicious IPAs now so Ghost doesn't stick out as much as it used to. It is still a fantastic beer though.

You're not alone. That beer is gross. It taste like tang and cheap vodka mixed with well water.

I enjoy it but it isn't worth the hassle of getting it

Posters on here ruin it for others

Walt lost his taste for Parish after he got his 8th DWI in Broussard.

I'm no expert. But isn't the juice from the hops. Ghost isn't a fruit flavored beer like Abita strawberry.

Hyped beer rarely lives up to the hype. Just how it goes. Best to keep your expectations low going in.

Currently having my first as well and I agree. Personally, I think Jucifer is better.
