but Ghost has been compared to Pliny the Elder, which had been considered the number one beer in the United States for the past 8 years until this year. Now it's considered #2 behind Two Hearted Ale.

Wait, you're saying that Two Hearted is considered the best beer in the country? By whom, exactly?

1) Guinness
2) Stella
3) Chimay
4) Newcastle

The definitive ranking of the best beers in the world.

I wouldn't use that.

Beer advocate is good, ratebeer is good, I'm sure there are others.

Scored some today in Shreveport. (Umad, East-Texas crowd?) Good as ever but the one beer I've had of this batch has a sort of "onion-y" wang to it. Hopefully a few weeks in the fridge and it'll sort itself out.

I've haven't heard of an IPA that gets better with aging.

It's not unusual for the hop flavors to mellow out over the first few weeks before they start to drop off.

Aging probably isn't the best term, though. More like ripening.

People say Ghost taste better after a week or two, that it needs to "settle" everyone is different though, I like Ghost fresh. I'll try it both ways since this is the first time since before November I've actually had Ghost though

Aging is loose term. There is definitely a 2-3 week period on hoppy IPAs where it is hitting on all cylinders after the canning date.

Also. IPAs that are not kept refrigerated will age terribly after the first month.

Ghost peaks at about 2-3 weeks in the bottle.

I have found this beer to be bitter and I get blisters on my tongue. Anyone else have this problem?
