I had a can today for lunch. Low carb, good fats ect. I like them.

Any ideas besides just eating them out of the can? recipes?

I've heard some people put them on crackers, although I usually just eat them with a fork. I eat 3-4 cans a week.

I eat 2-3 cans of Costco wild-caught Pacific salmon a week, and I really want to give sardines a try. I'm not a picky eater at all, but man, I'll admit... They scare me a little.

King Oscar sardines are the best. Most regular grocery stores carry them. The Mediterranean style with olives is my favorite. The jalapeno variety are very good going in, but...………

I have tried pretty much every brand and The King Oscars are the only ones that are not nasty.

These are my favorite. I eat them when I go fishing so about 2 cans per week. I'll eat them straight out of the can or on a saltine with a dab of mayo.

Every time I eat them my wife smells my fingers and accuses me of cheating.

Episode of I Love Lucy this a.m. on METV, she was eating ice cream with hot fudge and had Ricky pour sardines on top. It was making me gag before 6 this a.m. while on treadmill, and I like sardines BTW.

Between 2 pieces of toast bread.

Mustard and Louisiana hot sauce are my 2 favorites.
