Dough Pizzeria, yes ... Some of the best pizza you will ever eat anywhere. Not on the Riverwalk.

Paesano's on the Riverwalk.

Bohannan's Prime

Fogo de Chao

Boudro's, get the table side guacamole.

Not sure where you are from, but John Besh has a restaurant located at the Embassy. Luke. Same concept as his New Orleans St. Charles restaurant.

THIS!!

Get the shrimp paesano as your appetizer. They also serve it as a main course. Get the beef tenderloin as your main course with the poached potato medley as your side. This is the best steak I've ever eaten.

Rosario's. It's at the corner of St. Mary's and Alamo St.

Try the Pollo Con Mole, Tacos Nortenos, Griselda's Tacos, Enchiladas Mexicanas, Puffy Tacos, or the Spinach Enchiladas, Pollo a la Maria, or Carne de Puerco en Chile Cascabel.

It's gone downhill since their TV fame. I've been disappointed the past few times I've gone.

If you're looking for something similar in Austin, there's Original Pancake House on Parmer Ln. You have to try the Dutch Baby , when I first had it, I was reluctant to just use lemon/powder sugar/and butter...but it works. Also, their chocolate chip pancakes are really good. Their eggs benedict are, meh.
