R’evolution or Doris Metropolitan?

I have reservations at both tomorrow night and I need to cancel one. Haven’t been to either

imo Rev beats Doris across the board unless you're looking to get a dry aged or wagyu
For me Rev is one of the top restaurants in the city

Doris is good, but I would do Revolution. Death by Gumbo is worth it alone.

I try to avoid it and get tourists to not spend all their time there. Sue me. But I’ve eaten at every nice place in the FQ.

Never been to R'evolution but we have an off-shoot here (Seafood Revolution) and it is damn good. Only went to Doris once and came away unimpressed. My steak was over cooked (ordered medium and didn't have any pink inside, just grey matter). I was eating it with no intention of sending it back and when I told the waiter it was a bit over he told me that I was obviously mistaken. I won't go back to Doris.
