Punjabi Dhaba, Harbor Seafood, Little Chinatown, and I think there’s a Ye Olde College Inn inside of the airport.

My favorite semi-nice lunch spot in the Metairie/Kenner corridor is Sandro’s Trattoria. It may be the best Italian outside of the city. It’s close enough to the airport that it’d be worth the drive. It’s an unassuming location in a strip mall, but the food is fresh and top notch for that part of town. Decent lunch date for your criteria.

Nola Nica on Airline just past the old terminal. Solid Nicaraguan food. Their burger is top notch as well.

Brick Oven is very underrated Italian. Kenner Seafood does a good job and has a very expansive menu.

Gendusa's is the best restaurant in Kenner right now, followed by the Brick Oven. Both Italian.

I would argue that Casa Garcia was never solid, just that the mexican options in the GNO were that bad, and now they have gotten better

Is the roast beef poboy decent at harbour or Kenner seafood? Or is there a better one close to the airport?
