Restaurants in Louisiana to eat wild/different meats (snake, iguana....

Just a place to go and try something new. Anything close to lafayette, baton rouge, new orleans?

None that I know of because I doubt the FDA would allow that shite to be sold.

I'm pretty sure that type of stuff isn't legal to serve in the US since the FDA can't regulate it.

Use to be a place in Lafayette, near the old Evangeline Downs. At least they served stuff like buffalo, antelope, etc....Don't remember snake and iguana though. Not open anymore to my knowledge.

Owners went through a nasty divorce, and the restaurant suffered. Last time I went before it closed, they had lost their liquor license.

T Pittari's in New Orleans used to serve Elephant, Hippo, Tiger in limited supply back in the early 80s

Huh..how did they do this legally? Did they have a limit on how much they could serve?

guy was a genius promoter and relied on gimmicks like this, and it was before the endangered species act so he was able to. None of it was regular menu stuff
