Where is the best place to go? The game is a priority but we’d like to do better than bar food if possible. Any suggestions? TIA.

Crescent City Steak House has a TV in the main dining room.

Not saying these places are exceptional, but they are good to decent and have TVs:

Meril
Sidecar (great spot for outdoor oysters and drinks)

Doesn't R'evolution have TVs in the bar area? Could be wrong on that as its been awhile but if that is the case that's a very good restaurant.

Port Orleans

No restaurant wants you sitting there for 4hrs. And there really aren’t that many decent places with TVs to begin with

If the weather ends up being nice, I suggest Bayou Beer/wine garden.
You can sit outside and order from the bar food side of the business or order from the more upscale side

Cooter Browns is bar food, but it’s pretty damn good.

Central City BBQ has a lot of TVs and you can sit at bar or a table since it’s counter service you’re not taking up some waitresses table all night.

For night games I would go to College Inn.

THanks for the info peeps. We reserved a table at Wrong Iron. I’ve never been but my buddy said it was a good setup. Sounds like more bar than restaurant, but I will take what I can get. Thanks again.

It is, but they usually have a few food trucks and might have their own little kitchen open out back.

It's a great game watching place.

The Wrong Iron will be a fun place to watch the game. I have never eaten there but I have been there for the bar. They have a great selection of beers.

If you want something high end, you could try the bar at Clancy’s.

Cooter’s is excellent food.

Chef/kitchen manager used to own food truck called Foodie Call. Essentially food truck moved into Cooter’s.
