Made with real tomatoes and two can of paste. Meatballs were made of angus ground meat I grinned myself with pancetta mixed into the meat. Simmered the sauce for 6 hours. Also had real school house bread and sweet corn cooked down with heavy cream.

Looks damn good. Can't say I've ever had corn with red gravy, meatballs and spaghetti, but it is a balanced meal, and home cooked to boot.

I too make a damn good red gravy and will almost always have my meatballs and homemade Italian Sausage in it. When I do cook it, it is usually no less than 4 gallons with about 50 meatballs since it freezes so well for later use.

Like you, I cook it for no less than 4 hours, often longer and that really gets the flavors well blended and thickens the gravy so it isn't runny.

I also use shredded carrots for my sugar / acid balance instead of brown sugar.

Looks great, especially the meatballs, but why would you boil pork ribs for 3 hours?

Meatballs are too compact but I’d give it a try

Thinking the same thing. And who eats corn with meatballs and spaghetti?

I’m a little interested in what went into the sauce other than real tomatoes and tomato paste (which I personally wouldn’t use).

Looks great. Sounds a bit sweet for my taste, but I would eat it. I have a recipe which includes pork ribs. The taste they add is extraordinary.

P.S. during corn season, I eat it with all manner of foods. Had an ear with a half of a sub tonight.

Have y’all really never heard of spaghetti with a side of corn? That is all my school served as a side of spaghetti was the main. I have also seen many plate lunches in my travels that have that combo. I’m not calling you guys monsters but I am shocked at how shocked everyone seems to be over this.
