during corn season, I eat it with all manner of foods. Had an ear with a half of a sub tonight.

I've been eating a lot of the bi-color corn lately. Rouses has put it on sale for 5 ears for $1 and that is great value, plus the corn has been delicious to boot.

I've grilled it, steamed it and cooked it in several seafood boils so far. I even cut some off the cob and used it in a soup recently.

Beautiful sauce.. A friend of mine in New York's Italian grandmother used to say when you see the sun in the sauce, your tomatoes are fresh.. She was referring to the gold shimmer that your sauce has. Everything looks delicious.

That’s what I would call it and I just pulled a quart out of my freezer in honor of this thread.

And I have a nice corn patch growing but about a month from picking.

If it’s boxed spaghetti it isn’t homemade.

I would suggest a good dried pasta is preferable for meatballs and spaghetti to homemade fresh pasta (which certainly has its preferred place in other pasta dishes).

Have y’all really never heard of spaghetti with a side of corn? That is all my school served as a side of spaghetti was the main.

Same here, but I never really understood the combo. They don't seem to fit that well. I'd rather have something green for my veggie with spaghetti.

Personally, I like a Caesar salad with spaghetti and meatballs, but that's it for the greens. OP is still a delicious looking meal.

Yeah, but the trays they served those in had the corn in a separate little compartment. Not mixed in with the Spaghetti.

I love live in Avoyelles. Marksville elementary makes the bread and posts it on FB every couple of months. $5 a flat. I get four at a time!!!
