Well earned IMO. Many complain about the size of the tenders but they have great service, very good product, and consistency of quality.

Can’t afford $8 for a box combo?

I think it was exactly $10.42 actually.

I've only had Zaxby's once, but IMO it wasn't nearly as good as Cane's.

I've admittedly been a Cane's fanboy since I was a kid in the 90s though.

I had zaxbys once driving through Georgia and it was one of the worst experiences ever. The first table we sat on had ants ALL over it. The chicken was kinda burnt. I ordered it tossed in a sauce and they hand me dry tenders with a packet of sauce. I got the hottest one they had and it wasn’t hot at all.

0/10 won’t be back.

If anyone has a PDQ close, it’s the best.

I remember the constant articles in The Reville about chicken wars...

Box combo is a touch over $8. I'd rather pay that for Canes than McDonald's. Everyone that complains about the prices does so because it's a convenient arguement, the price has risen at all fast food joints and Canes isn't outpacing any of the others. They don't mess up your order (probably because there's 2 options), it's clean, and the workers are pleasant. Three of the most important things, imo, because you know what kind of food quality to expect when ordering fast food.

Your mom either didn't cook or she couldn't cook worth a shite. This is almost true of all Cane's fanboys, because their moms raised them on frozen chicken nuggets and Ore-Ida fries.

I’m not sure what my mom has to do with this, but I’m in my late 20s now and am a pretty good cook myself.

Maybe my mom just wanted to give me something I enjoyed every once in a while. Seems like yours didn’t do the same.

PDQ is legit. Their fries are the tits too. But their sauces are shite.

I hope you mean "the shite" because that creamy garlic and sweet srirachi sauce is awesome.

I agree with Meridian. Canes is really meh. I would never crave it like I do Popeyes.

I’m a multimillionaire and I don’t want to pay $8 for a Canes box when I can get a 3 piece mixed spicy dinner with two sides from Popeyes.

I have had Slim Chicken's. It is more over-priced and more mediocre than Cane's. Went once, haven't been back

These are reasons why I don’t understand the hate. It is what it is, and compared to who it’s competing against it’s pretty good.

Also while Popeyes is good, and commonly listed as the better alternative to Canes, it seems to get a pass on staff, order being right, takes forever, etc.

My tenders have been decent size lately (Sherwood location) but every time I order an extra finger to bulk up my box combo, they always pick out the smallest, thinnest tender on the pile.

I remember when it was $5.15 and the college drive location had sauce in a dispenser.
