How old are you P90X people? That looks like a young mans program.

I'm 41. Finished second routine last night. Everyone says that one (plyometrics) is the hardest out of the whole thing. It definitely works out your legs like a mother and gets the heart pumping like crazy.

But, I did it and feel great this morning. Sore, but great. Heart rate monitor that also does calories said I burned 980 calories last night during that hour. Not sure how much I can trust that, but I was certainly sweating and burning like I haven't in a while!

I've heard you can get the whole thing on torrents and such, but it's only $120. I mean, really?

its not just the cost...I need another stack of dvds like I need a hole in my head. torrents provide this in a single bite zip file...and I can play the vids on my pc, my laptop or my tv. some day they'll wake up and realize the reason people turn to torrents is its a better product.

I get that. And trust me, I'm not knocking anyone for getting it for free. I just have liked to own stuff outright for quite a while now since I used to get viruses and stuff from pirated software years ago. I'm just weird like that I guess.

Brrrrrrrrr. Too damn cold out there today. Wish I had something good and hot to eat.

Instead, I got me some spinach and chicken.

Thanks for the info on P90X, I might ask the doc if he thinks I should do it. I'm 61, in great cardio shape, but I don't want to do anything to risk my ability to walk long distances. Any injury to a weight bearing area would be disastrous at this point in my program.

Having a bad night. I am famished. I was all set to hit T Bell, but willed myself away from the door.

The arctic temps also kept me indoors.

Update.....blurp......whoops......Siren song of TBELLA got me......

Checking In. 12-26-10 258/239/187

I was on a brief plateau. I have dropped 2.5lbs in four days by watching the sodium. thanks TigerMyth for the info.

Good idea about talking to doc. There are some of the routines that could do this I think.

Well I've been eating out of the freezer and pantry since Jan 1 so not really eating right. Keeping the same last month. Lost my holiday weight but kind of plateaued.

You set a record for oldest thread to get a sticky. Or at least I figure this must be the oldest post ever to get a sticky.

it's not entirely impossible .. of course that will slow down dramatically to about 8 to 12 pounds a month with the key being his not getting discouraged because it is not falling off of him and quitting ... but people can drop 20+ pounds in the first month .. especially if they cut out sodium and carbs right away ..

It's that time of year to lose weight so it gets a lot of traffic. Not sure who stickied it but it's worth it.
