Albertson's is having some ginormous sale for 4 days, I'm glad I checked my mail and didn't throw that out like I normally do. Saturday is grocery shopping day and me and the roommate are about to stock up like crazy. What we normally get at wal mart for $100-$120 can likely be had for under $75. Lots of buy one get 1 free on meats, and a few coupons for buy 1 get 2 free, as well as sales on other meats. All sorts of things going on sale. I'm bringing the paper to work tomorrow and making a shopping list, I can list out some of the deals if ya'll are interested.

Hulk, do not believe this rubbish. Gmorgan and I are still waiting on our measly hot dogs he promised us two years ago. Don't start licking your chops over the ribeye.

Being sick is not good for the diet. I was too tired to cook anything last night so I ate a sandwich. I was scared to not eat enough calories so I risked the carbs. No increase on scale today but we will see how it goes.

you're in the for the long haul. little bumps along the road wont hurt you. if you haven't started already..start tracking your daily weight in a spreadsheet..its awesome and incredibly motivating to see the weight decline over time.

D'oh I left the papers at home, I was in a big rush this morning and forgot em.

The sales are different in every Albertson's so you may be best off looking online.

Madam Squirrel,
I've was in your shoes about a year ago. I had a wicked stomach virus and couldn't hold anything down in either direction and ended up losing 7 lbs in about a week. So while the Stomach Virus Diet is not as socially acceptable as Atkins, or Weight Watchers, it can be an effective boost to your regular program Hope you feel better.

80/20 ground beef - Buy one, get one free
Boneless Pork Loin roast - $1.99/lb
Boneless Pork Loin chops - Buy 1 get 1 free
Boneless beef stew cubes - Buy 1 get 1 free
Pork shoulder butt roast - $1.99/lb
Petite Sirloin Steak - Buy 1 get 1 free
Bone-in Pork Loin Chops - Buy 1 get 1 free
Bnls, sknls chkn breast - Buy 1 get 2 free (coupon)
Chicken drums or thigh - 99c / lb
Sirloin Steak - $4.00 / lb
Planter's Peanuts - 2 for $5
16 oz HV Ranch - $2.99
Dozen large eggs - 88c
C.O.T.S Albacore Tuna - 89c/can
Red Gold stewed tomatoes - 47c/can
1 lb strawberries - $3.99
Broccoli Crowns - $1.49/lb
8 oz white shrooms - $1.79 each
Yellow onions - 99c/lb
1 lb baby carrots - $1.69 each
50 oz Tide 2x liquid - $7.99 each

Some of that I may not get because I'm supposed to be doing induction, like the strawberries and peanuts.. I may get the peanuts because it's a good deal and I'm not going to be on induction for forever.

ETA
this is for the albertson's on airline/old hammond hwy. I think the same deals are going on in other albertson's in BR but don't know for sure.

I bounced up a .10 Cad. You have a chance to catch me.

I may be going out to lunch or dinner tomorrow so that should also give you a little time to catch up.

Getting a bit worried about this whole rapture thing. I'm going to be real pissed if my last meal was tunafish with sliced avocado on lettuce.
