Been on the pain train officially 3 weeks today. Most carbs I've had in a day is 18 net. Down from 263 to 245 . 6'1. 44 YO. Goal is 210.

Going to Houston for a few days and am scared of myself. Will be going out to eat with groups of friends, so scared I'll get weak. Haven't ventured from my food source (home) too much so far and am fearful of the temptation of chips and margaritas!

You've got this!! Try your best to make good choices. If you fall off a bit, know with total conviction that you will get back on track as soon as you're home.

Here are my weekly averages

Calories 1050
Carbs 33%
Fat 37%
Protein 30%

Week before
Calories 793
Carbs 69%
Fat 21%
Protein 10%

I am not sure what to make other than I think my protein went up by adding egg whites and porkchops.

None of the above actually

I feel somewhat discouraged that I am hitting a plateau of cutting weight and not losing some shape, because I think I went into body starvation the first week. This is where I need to keep on and not quit. I have decided besides walking I am going to ride a stationary bike, as the football coaches in school have allowed me to get on it after school.

yeah you def went into starvation mode early. Thats super low calories (and you are still too low imho) You hahe to stay patient. You normaly lose a lot of water weight first then stall out. Around week 4 is when you will start to really notice a difference.

The bike will be good. Go at it hard as you can, dont half arse it. And if you can chnage the resistance on the bike, turn it up!

Also i still suggest 1500 calories a day consisting of at least 150g protein and not going over 80g carbs.

I was going to start 30 minutes and increase the duration as I feel like I can every other day on the bike and also continue my walking daily also.

that would be good. the more exercise you can do... the better your results. But you will be going into a bigger calorie deficit and need to up them some or you will be back in starvation mode

I'm sorry, I read your story like 6 times and didn't catch the "oh, 3 through the door" and how that was significant until you pointed it out. Yeah, that's an a-hole move. Sorry I didn't catch it

Slowly on the way down. I was bad Saturday and expected for the damage to be worse, but glad it wasn't.

Pretty solid low carb option for anyone downtown New Orleans. Majoria Commerce Deli, low carb specials every day. Here's chicken cordon bleu

They don't use any breading in the low carb items, so use things like egg white as binders instead of bread crumbs.

And the specials all include a side salad.

Other meals I've gotten from there:

Hamburger Steak:

Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf

You could use parm cheese instead of bread crumbs

One of the sites I read said that a good sub for things that needed them was to put unseasoned pork skins in a good processor and then season them like you want and use them
